Towers Watson expands investment team

Professional services company Towers Watson has appointed David Holding and Gregory Jackson as investment consultants to its investment teams based in the UK.

Holding joins the defined contributions investment team in London from BNY Mellon Asset Management where he was an account manager in the institutional pooled pension fund team.

Jackson joins the client consulting team in Reigate from Marsh & McLennan Companies where he was a pension manager for its UK defined benefit scheme.

The company has also appointed Geraint Davies, Simon Cowen, Ryan Turner and Tamaryn Driver as investment analysts to its UK investment team.

During 2009 Towers Watson added over £3 billion of assets under advisory through its advanced investment solutions implemented consulting service, bringing total assets in the division to around £25 billion.
